Hi, I'm Kathy Parker and welcome to Pomiarose Pomeranians.
Before getting involved in pomeranian breeding, I bred Arabian horses for over 20 years, then Warmbloods. I had had the pleasure of coming in contact with some pomeranians over the years and was always drawn to them. As my time for breeding horses came to an end, I researched breeding these little balls of personality.
I purchased my first pomeranian in early 2010 and began breeding and showing in late 2012. I quickly fell in love with their cheeky, extroverted personality.
I was lucky enough to be able to visit the famous Canton Pomeranians in The Philippines where I was able to view many different bloodlines. While I was there we purchased some dogs with wonderful bloodlines to bring back to Australia.
This is not as easy as it sounds - dogs from The Philippines have to go to an approved country for six months so they can be tested for the rabies virus before they can enter Australia. In this instance we had five pups go to Finland then onto Australia. I have since imported another boy from The Philippines; American and Australian Champion Canton Kevin Li.
I now enjoy a close relationship with Basilio from Canton and he acts as a mentor and shares his famous bloodlines with me.
In my time showing, I have titled several dogs including one 'Best In Show'.
My dogs are kept in top class accommodation ranging from living in the house to their own fully air conditioned, insulated kennels. All girls are welped in my home and puppies raised inside the house.
My dogs are my life and give me a reason to get up and face each day.
Each and every pomeranian is loved and cared for on my six-acre property with the help of key off-site specialists including veterinarians and dog groomers. I pride myself on my attention to detail and I am passionate about maintaining the breed standard. I am always available for owners post-purchase to help with enquiries.
Placing my puppies in loving forever homes is an integral part of my business and as such, I have a stringent enquiry process for potential puppy owners - as always the animals best interest is always at the forefront.
With much puppy love,
